This space began with a quiet moment of honesty.
One morning, I woke up with a question that felt like a whisper from my soul: When was I truly joyful?
I slowed my breath and listened—and the answer came clearly. It was when I bought this mountain. When I was developing the land, living simply without the destructions of the modern world, grounding my feet to mother earth, eating non toxic food, dreaming, creating, and feeling deeply alive.
Then life stepped in. I ran out of funds and returned to the U.S. to work, believing I would come back and continue. But slowly, without meaning to, I set the land aside. I slipped back into an old pattern of nonstop work, filling my days but losing touch with something essential.
This retreat center exists because I finally listened again to that original whisper, to the place where joy once lived, and to the healing that had been waiting there all along.
